Hi everyone, I'm sorry for the lack of posts recently. Hopefully I can get back into blogging soon. So today I opened my 3rd bottle of Cle de Peau Beaute's Brightening Serum Supreme. Cle de Peau makes full-sized refills for each skin care products and you can get a refill for 500yen cheaper than the regular one.
Made in Japan, the serum comes in a glass bottle with a pump. I'm scared of getting sun spots (I don't have any yet) and had been looking for a good brightening serum that prevents the appearance of dark spots, then I purchased this after using some samples. My nearest Cle de Peau counter is adjacent to a Shiseido counter, and the SAs are kind enough to bring some serums to me to try out. Shiseido White Lucent serum was not bad but this Brightening Serum Supreme was just what I needed.
Brightening Serum Supreme is a lightweight milky liquid that get very easily absorbed into the skin, leaving it fresh and hydrated. It's formulated with Tranexamic acid to diminish dark spots and prevent melanin formation, and I noticed the difference after 1 month of using it. I had been applying it only on face and I found that my face looks brighter than my neck. So I started to apply the serum on my neck too.
Brightening products somewhat tend to make my skin dehydrated, but this serum is so hydrating and really brightens up the skin. It also works to help to get rid of acne scars. If you have dry skin and are looking for a brightening product that doesn't dry out, this may be a great option for you.
