I've still been looking for the best liquid/cream foundation for Winter. Hydrating, medium or buildable coverage without looking cakey, semi-matte finish, having some sun protection.. and the most important part is how it keeps staying beautiful on my face throughout the day.
I got a sample from the Suqqu counter and have used it for 5 days so today let me review SUQQU Frame Fix Liquid Foundation N.
SUQQU's foundations don't require a primer. It has SPF30 PA++ which is enough for me so I didn't wear a sunscreen under this foundation.
The foundation is thick for a liquid foundation, but it is still easy to blend on the skin. It gives a high coverage with a matte finish, but it never looks heavy. My T-zone got shiny after around six hours but not a "greasy" looking, it was a natural glow looking which is nice. I liked how it covered pores really well and I could skip concealer when using it.
The shade I tried was 102, the medium shade which matches my skin. Here's a shade swatch comparing some foundations I own.
From left to right
-LANEIGE BB Cushion Pore Control in 21 Natural Beige
-Cle de Peau Beaute Radiant Fluid Foundation in Ochre 30
-Dior Prestige White Collection Satin Brightening UV Base BB
-RMK Liquid Foundation in 103
-SUQQU Frame Fix Liquid Foundation N in 102
Surprisingly , SUQQU Frame Fix Liquid Foundation N starts to dry very quickly. And it turned a little bit reddish after a few minutes. It didn't happen when applied on my face, though.
Lightweight, "I'm not wearing foundation" foundations are the mainstream nowadays, so this SUQQU one feels somewhat unusual to me, but it creates a refined look which I really like.
I still have some foundation samples to try out! ADDICTION Tinted Skin Protector and this SUQQU Liquid Foundation are my favorites so far. Please leave a comment and let me know if you have any recommends :)
