Review: RAFRA Balm Orange

I purchased RAFRA Balm Orange after hearing so many people raving about it. It is a balm cleanser but claims to work also as a massage balm, gentle exfoliator and face mask. Actually it was my first time trying a hot cleanser. I never even wanted to try hot cleansers as they seemed to cause dryness by removing all of oils on the skin, but yeah, some friends' words like "that cleanser is worth a try" make me run into the store and grab it.

After I started using White Generate from Albion Exage White range, I decided to add Bright Dew Cream to my skincare routine. White Generate offers good hydration for a serum, especially a brightening one, but it was sometimes not enough for my dry skin to use as the final step of the routine.

Review: BLANC & ECLARE Cosmetics - Mist, Serum and Eye Cream

Finally writing a review on Blanc & Eclare products! I actually purchased those in last December, yes it's six months ago. My life has been busy for the past few months and I finally took the TOEIC test at the end of last month for the first time. Hopefully I will be able to blog more from this month! (also I hope I'll get a good score in TOEIC.) I still have a lot to review and post.

Going back to Blanc & Eclare Cosmetics, it is a newly launched skincare line from Blanc & Eclare, a fashion brand created by Korean singer Jessica Jung. I've been a huge fan of her for years - I adore her singing and her style, as well as her beauty. And when she announced she would release cosmetics, I was like "I love Jessica and cosmetics! She is producing a skin care line! A dream came true!" So I ordered Serein Hydrating Mist, Serein Robust Ampoule Serum, and Serein Energizing Eye Cream right after it's released (I ordered the 1989 scarf as well at the same time and it came in the black gorgeous box in the picture above). I think it took 6 days to arrive in Japan. I've shopped a few times at B&E online, and when I ordered their new Ready to Wear summer collection last month it took only 3 days to receive my package. Great.

Sample Review: Cosme Decorte AQMW White Completion

Cosme Decorte is generous with free samples. I received 10 packets of Cellgenie samples even when I only bought one item. Today I'd like to review a sample of Cosme Decorte AQMW White Completion which I got from the latest AQMW haul.

AQMW offers 4 different moisturizers; normal one, organic oil-based one, whitening one and concentrated rich one. White Completion is a whitening cream that contains Kojic Acid, the active ingredient which is being used in some Brightening/Whitening products from Cosme Decorte.

It's a thick white cream. Not too heavy, not too light. I applied it after lotion and it didn't feel sticky at all. Next morning I woke up with a smooth and hydrated skin. I can't tell my skin looked brighter after one use, because the cream is not a type of a product that bleach the skin immediately, it just suppresses melanin production.

It has a refreshing fragrance of Sandalwood which I absolutely love.

The product worked well on my skin but I thought it would be too light to use as a night cream in the winter. I have combination skin (my T-zone is oily and the rest is dry) and in the winter I want a more rich cream to keep my skin hydrated while I sleep. It hydrates enough in this season, though.

I recommend this cream if you're looking for a moisturizer that prevents dark spots and make your skin clear.

Review: SUQQU Reset Cleansing Emulsion

Suqqu added a new formula to their Reset Cleansing series! This emulsion-like milky cleanser is called 'Cleansing Spa' - means it gives you a relaxing time like spa, at home. This Reset Cleansing Emulsion came out this month and it already has some good reviews on @cosme.net.

I prefer cleansing cream/milk because I have dry to combination skin and most cleansing oils make my skin dry out. I have been using Cle de Peau Beaute's cleansing cream for a while, I like how it removes my makeup gently, but I had always been looking for a makeup remover that could better suit my skin.

Cosme Decorte Cellgenie Cream VT

This is my first purchase from the Cellgenie range; Cellgenie is Cosme Decorte's early anti-aging skin care range that they launched last year. I'm 25 years old and I thought it might be time for me to start using some 'anti-aging' skin care, and I heard Cellgenit is targeted to woman in mid 20 and above so I bought this moisturizer to see how it would work.
